Kitchens, bathrooms & living spaces, South East Queensland
I'm Jess. Entrust Building and Construction is a one-tradesperson operation: no call centre, no rotating subbies you've never met. From the first measure-up to the final coat of sealant, I'm the one on your site and on the other end of the phone.

What I Build
Every renovation is different, but the standard doesn't move. Here's what I take on most, roughly in the order I get asked for it.
Full strip-outs, waterproofing taken up the wall properly and signed off to code, and finishes that hold up in a Queensland bathroom for the next twenty years, not just the first two. This is where most of my current work sits, and it shows in the photos below.
Reworked layouts, new cabinetry and benchtops, built around your existing plumbing and power where that keeps costs sensible.
Opening up tired floor plans: removing walls, replacing flooring, re-lighting a room, without touching what doesn't need to change.
Extra bedrooms, alfresco living or a second bathroom, engineered, permitted, and tied into the existing roofline properly.

The Name's Not Just a Slogan
I started Entrust Building and Construction because I was tired of watching homeowners get quoted one price and handed another. I've spent years on the tools across South East Queensland, and I still turn up to every job personally, from the first site measure to the final walkthrough.
There's no project manager relaying messages between you and "the boys." If something changes mid-job, and on a renovation, something usually does, you hear it from me, directly, before it turns into a surprise on the invoice.
"If I wouldn't be comfortable explaining the invoice to your face, I don't send it."
I keep a small number of jobs running at once, on purpose. It means slower growth, but every client gets the same attention, not whichever's left over once the bigger jobs are covered.
How It Runs
No jargon, no vague timelines. This is the sequence, every time.
I come to you, measure up, and talk through what's realistic for the budget. You get one number, not a "starting from."
Where council sign-off or engineering is needed, I handle the paperwork and keep you posted on timing, not chase you after silence.
Your site stays as tidy as a working site can be. Rubbish off-site regularly, and a heads-up before anything noisy or messy happens.
Walkthrough, warranties and compliance certificates handed over, and a call at the six-month mark to see how it's holding up.
One Recent Job, Start To Finish
The brief
Cracked waterproofing, a shower recess that had never been sealed past the hob, and a vanity that had never sat level. The job was a full strip-out: new membrane taken properly up the walls, a frameless glass screen, and floor-to-ceiling tiling in place of the old half-tiled walls.
"The finish is the last five percent of the job. The other ninety-five happens behind the sheeting, where nobody's looking."
Because it's a renovation and not a new build, most of the real work happened before the tiler ever showed up: checking the fall to the drain, confirming the stud layout hadn't shifted, and re-routing one section of plumbing that was never up to code.
Word Of Mouth
"Jess quoted us once, stuck to it, and sent photos most afternoons so we knew what we were walking into after work. Half the trades we'd used before wouldn't even return a call once the deposit was in."
"Turned our leaking ensuite into the best room in the house."
"Straight up about what could go wrong before it did. Appreciated that more than the tiling, if I'm honest."
Based centrally in South East Queensland and on the road most days. If you're within about an hour's drive, it's worth a call.
Before You Call
Depends on scope, but a full bathroom strip-and-rebuild typically runs 3–4 weeks from demo to final fixing. You'll get a realistic date range in the quote, not a best-case one.
For a single bathroom or kitchen, no. Most clients stay put and just lose access to that one room. For larger extensions, we'll talk through what's practical for your place.
You get a call and a photo before I touch it, with a cost to fix it and a cost to leave it, if that's an option. Nothing gets quietly added to the invoice afterwards.
The fastest way to get a real answer is to call. If I'm mid-job and can't pick up, leave a message or send a text, I return every call by the end of the day.
